Short-period seismic station PIVO is designed for observation of regional seismicity and local seismicity in the area of Orlické hory, Hanušovická vrchovina and Hornomoravský úval. The station is part of the MONET seismological observation network (FDSN code M1). The measuring point is equipped with a short-period instrumentation (Lennartz Le-3Dlite sensor with 1Hz corner frequency). The station was modernized by this instrumentation in 2018, it was preceded by temporary measurements since 2014.
