Short-period seismic station MUVC is designed for observation of regional seismicity and local seismicity in the area of Hrubý Jeseník and Hornomoravský úval. The station is part of the MONET seismological observation network (FDSN code M1). The measuring point is equipped with short-period instrumentation (passive sensor Sercel L4D with natural frequency 1Hz). The station was built in 2013. The former seismic station in the village of Mutkov was called MUTC and was in operation from 1996 to 2013.
